picture a frowny face here

So, Jason and I had had our bed for fourteen years and it was getting all lumpy and saggy and all that good stuff so we got a new one. Which was extremely blissful for the first week. But it must hold all your body heat in it or something, because it makes me miserably hot while I am sleeping. And now my back is starting to hurt. We have a thirty day trial, so I was going to call today and see if we can exchange it and then I realized, I think I took all the tags off. I am so irritated with myself!!!!!!!!!

Just thought I would share this oh-so-exciting problem with the world.

Don't you mean....you're so ANNOYED with yourself? ;-) I hate getting new beds, sleeping in different beds...etc. Instead of buying a new mattress, we bought one of those memory foam mattress toppers...they stink at first, but now I feel like I have the most comfortable bed in the world. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A COMFORTABLE BED...or else you just go around being "annoyed" all the time. :-p

Oops! How quickly we forget! :) I was not annoyed, I was irritated. It is sliding down a notch since I laughing at you and I am more awake now.

Was your memory foam hot? This mattress has it built in and I think that is what is making me sweat. It is soooo annoying. and gross. :)

It seems to me that it keeps me warm....maybe in the summer it does make me hot...I know Mike and Julene have one, and I believe that is the same complaint they have...it keeps them tooooo hot. I do NOT enjoy being hot...but with my bad back, it does seem to help...so it's kind of one of those trade-offs.

YES! It makes us miserably hot I am sad to say. I thought we were going to use the word 'turb'?

Turb sounds too close to another word. :)

I don't want to go to the hassle of returning my mattress. Whine, whine...

Ok...so I'll trying posting again! I just said earlier that I totally get the whole hot foam thing! I've slept on those before and its like sleeping on an electric blanket on broil! Maybe if you got a really thick (like down) mattress pad to put over the mattress it would help.

Electric Blanket on broil. That is funny! I am glad your comment went through!
