What Does He See?

The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.
~2 Chro 16:9

I have been seeing this verse everywhere lately. I love it. I wonder how many committed hearts He finds as He searches the earth today? I am praying for God to show me if my heart is fully committed to Him, begging Him to purify my heart, so it will be pleasing to Him.

Oh, let's pray for each other's hearts. Without judgement, without criticism, but in love, lift each other up. And then live boldly, knowing He will give us strength. Strength to love and to live righteously before Him, no matter what the circumstances are.

That is definitely one search that I hope that I am found in.

Fully committed is a big step. Am I there yet, I wonder? If not, then Lord grant me the strength to get there.

So you get an Amen from me.

This is one of my favorite verses as well...may we love the things God loves, and not love the things God does not love...may our hearts be purified in HIM!!

How are you doing by the way?? Are the retreat plans in the making? I am going to try to bring my daughter-in-law again...woohoo!

Thanks for your comment Tony!

I am doing well, Andresa. The retreat is the first weekend in April but we haven't done much planning yet. I think it is going to be about unity in the body of Christ. But that's all I know. :) I can't wait to see you! XO

I love this verse too Tawny, the knowledge that God's eyes are upon us, searching us, delighting in a heart that is uncompromised before Him. I find it really inspiring.

Would love to join in this prayer too :) Bless you and have a great weekend.

It was really wild. Today, or maybe it was yesterday, I found myself totally praying for Mr. Obama and the trials and leadership he is soon going to find himself in. I was praying like he was my friend. I haven't had that burden in quiet a while for a "celebrity"...it was refreshing actually.

Kristi, it is so nice to see you on my blog again! It sounds like you are happy to be back doing your Kingdom thing! Not that you weren't while you were here, of course! I am glad you are praying for Obama, don't quit! XO

Birgit, I hope you had a nice weekend too!
