I dreamt last night that I was fighting in a war. People shooting all around me, the enemy falling out of the sky, bombs going off and it ended with some of us running away from this weird heat wave thing. I was just starting to melt when I woke up. I don't recall ever having a dream quite like that, even when I was in the Army. So now I am wondering, what was that all about, Lord? Him and I work things out with my dreams sometimes. Mostly they make me aware of some emotion that wasn't quite close enough to the surface for me to bring it to Him. If it isn't too embarrassing, I will let you know what I figure out. :)
In hope that I will get to go to work today, I am going to go get ready. After I leave you with my favorite anti-depression verse:
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. ~Rom 15:13

Dreams are so crazy huh!?? Amazing what they can mean. How are your kids? Hope everyone is feeling better.
I personally think he showed you a glimpse of the warfare that is all around us in the Spiritual world that we feel but don't see. I am thinking of when Elijah or Elisha whichever one it was prayed for his friend to see the army on their side. I have actually been thinking of these battles often lately and wondering what they are really like. This is really profound huh? :) Oh well Jarrett is pressuring me to let him have the computer. Good night.
I've had a war dream before. It was terrible. Brent, the kids and me were running in the middle of the street with hundreds of other people. It was chaos. Within the crowd were gunmen taking out anybody they could. Kass and Brent were a little ahead of me and I was carrying Kota behind them when I got shot. I was like, "Oh No You DIDN'T!!!!" It didn't hurt, I wasn't afraid. Brent came back to get Kota and he and the kids ran off. Wha??!!! Lying on the ground I'm like, "Sissy! I'm dying here! Your bride just got shot!" Helllooooo! =) I think i woke up mad at him =o
Hey guys, Thanks for your comments. My husband and Gabe are still sick but the rest of us are better.
Yeah, Krissi, I asked Tom if the Pastors would pray for the women's ministry team after the Bible Study on Tues (before the retreat next weekend) just incase it was a warning dream. I figured a wise woman would get some men in on the battle since they are the strong warrior type and all. Except for maybe Brent??? :) Just kidding, couldn't resist after Tam shared her dream. Thank you Tammy, that was fun.
