Secrets and Mysteries

I think it is so exciting that Jesus said this to His disciples. Which means it could apply to you and I:

Matthew 13:11-12 (Amplified Bible)
11And He replied to them, To you it has been given to know the secrets and mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

12For whoever has [spiritual knowledge], to him will more be given and he will be furnished richly so that he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

If we know Him, we have access to all the secrets of the universe. The important ones, anyway!

So here is what I find interesting about those verses. The secrets, mysteries and spiritual knowledge is given directly from Him. I think there are many spiritual principles and concepts that we can only learn though true fellowship with Jesus. Things that are not layed out in scripture and things that can not be explained by the logic of man.

Too often I think we dismiss a true spiritual knowledge concept or prinicple someone is trying to share with us because we can't explain it or find it in scripture. Which comes back to not being deceived but praying that the Lord would confirm these things to you. :)
It's early, hopefully that makes sense to someone else besides me.

When I read this the first time it reminded me of those verses in Luke 10:21-24 (your going to have to look it up, too much typing for sore fingers:P)
I love that we can trust Him completely, even with all that we will come to know and what He chooses to reveal to us for our transformation.

Luke verses:

21At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.

22"All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

23Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. 24For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it."
